Do you know that for the past 30 years, the rate of global warming has accelerated? The environment is important to us, it determines our survival. Our class has thus taken action as a response to Earth Hour, create awareness about the issue of climate change and inspire people to alleviate some of Earth's sufferings.
Earth Hour is a global event organized by WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature, also known as World Wildlife Fund), asking households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights and other electrical appliances for one hour to raise awareness towards the need to take action on climate change.
The video directors, Rebecca and Wan Ling, have finally accomplished their goal for the week: To finish filming the class environmental video. The speech drafting, allocation of each member to the line they are saying, and patience in organising everyone to create this combined effort has finally paid off. Thank you everyone in 09S08 for making this possible. The video will be officially screened on the net by Thursday, 8th April 2010. Rebecca and Wan Ling might also be posting for some hilarious NG scenes/photos. So, stay tune!
